The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

I agree with the blood flow stuff. I am not a person who can take a full 7-10 days off doing anything. It just makes me feel deflated and weak.

Excited for you mate. Looking forward to hearing how you go.
Thanks Justin! Cant wait to get at it!

Im pretty confident im my squat and bench, but still some issues with my pull. Yesterday, I went to the gym to practice some form issues in the suit and worked up to an ugly 505, which got my mind racing for answers. I tried some things, that obviously didnt work, and after thinking about it I know what im doing wrong(hopefully). So today Im going in one more time to try the changes on some lighter weight (up to 455) and also some gear changes. Nothing too taxing, just some confidence boosting.

Went in today and actually worked the pull to 525. Form felt good finally. The suit could be tighter in the hips, so i may wear a single ply brief under the king. Now for the hard part. Sitting and waiting

Same here, I need to hit the bike for my knee so that should help with cutting the weight. I just plan on doing all three lifts with just 1pps and that's it. I've never done this before, so we'll see how this goes.

I like it because its not taxing at all, but gets blood flowing and everything loose. Since im old, I tend to stiffen up quite a bit from not doing anything for a period of time.

Just going 220. My diet was less than par() lol so im just going as a true 220. Im sitting at about 213, just too much of a cut. Still can hit an APA record in squat so that would be cool.

I feel you, this is the most consistent I've been being in the 250's. I had a big lunch yesterday and I woke up today at 253, lol. So I either need to watch what I eat so I can stay closer to 242's or eat like I want to and move up to 275's.

Really looking forward to this Brian. You have worked really hard. Glad to hear you got the form issues sorted with your pull.

Are you going to get a bloat on or just cruize in as normal?

Right now im at 220 on the button, so I have to keep an eye on it until Friday morning. Im pretty confident in my form on all lifts, but already have changes in the works for afterwards lol. Wish you the best for tomorrow Brian. Lose yourself and do what you have to do. You worked too hard to leave any lbs behind. Lets see it.
