The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

Thanks Hayden and Nick. Was a fun day!

Thanks Brian! Yeah your right. Definately can see a torn bicep coming from it. Thats why i would be iffy with it with anything heavier then speed work. I just have to mimic that starting position. It puts me exaxtly where im strongest, and i never seem to duplicate it when setting up slowly.

I believe that's how Ano T. tore his bicep, he use to pull with the grip and rip style. I definitely wouldn't recommend it with heavier weight. You should get some video of you doing it so we can see how you can mimic your setup with heavier weight.

Thanks Nick. I like the foam. Sinks you in making you power out of the hole. I was at the game. Quickly went down hill huh. End of the third quarter, the whole stadium was chanting Fire Andy.

strong dips, I need to start doing this again. I've come to the realization that they are a must. When I was benching in the mid 4s in 2005 I was hitting 135-180+ weighted dips for 8-12 reps. I have nailed a 405 bench ONCE since 2005 and I attribute it to lack of tricep strength. Gotta get that work done. Great session bro!

Work has been interfering with training schedule lately. Been busy dealing with Occupy Philly and working 12 hour days biking around. Skipped lower accessory last night because im a bitch, so hopefully i can get in there tonight and get some work done.
