The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Its no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

Love the dips B. I am going to make them a staple on my accessory day too. Bench movement, dips and chins, done. No mess no fuss.

    Congrats on the deoccupation.

    12/2 Upper Accessory

This week has been pretty hectic and hindered my training schedule totally. I havent been able to get to the gym since Monday. 12 hour days and coming home to spend a little time with the kids takes priority over training. Im only missing 1 day of training(DE Lower day), but I havent been able to train with the crew and cant Squat with them either tommorrow. But I should be back on schedule come Monday.

    CG Bench (14inch grip)
    135x10
    185x10
    225x10
    245x5
    275x5
    300x3 pr

    Weighted Dips
    BW+90 x10
    BW+135 x6
BW+160 x3 pr drop set BW x12 (3 second count down and deep on each rep)

    BB Shrugs
    switch grip
    405 x15
    455 x10

    Pendlay Rows
    225 x8 x2

    Rope Pressdowns s/s Facepulls
    150 x12 s/s 150 x12 2 sets

    15 minute run/walk on treadmill

Great workout after a 12 hour day. I feel the dips are really helping with bench strength. I have a goal of hitting BW+200lbs on them. Tommorrow ill have to hit ME Lower solo again..blah

We are much the same at the moment in terms of having to make do with our own training. Most likely be this way until after the holidays.

I didn't realise your dips were THAT strong?! Great going B. Horse shoes on the back of the arms much? Lol

Ghettos are just kneeling on a pad on the floor with your feet secured under something to perform GHRs. LOL, yeah I played hockey all my life. Was pretty dam good too(self praise). Used to travel the US and Canada playing tournaments. But then I was slammed feet first into the boards, tearing my groin and a lower ab muscle thus ending my hockey career. Once I got into PLing, thats what hindered my SQ/pull progression just because it never healed right. I still feel it, but nothing to hold me back though.
