The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    Nice squattin Brian!

Actually some really nice squatting and benching given youre inbetween drinking sessions ha ha. Enjoy the rest of your trip mate.
This is the true joy in life, the being used for a purpose recognized by yourself as a mighty one; the being thoroughly worn out before you are thrown on the scrap heap; the being a force of Nature instead of a feverish selfish little clod of ailments and grievances complaining that the world will not devote itself to making you happy - George Bernard Shaw

Thanks Bri for the kind words and also for stopping in here

Well im back from San Diego after a pretty disappointing game. They really look bad right now. But the trip itself was just awesome. We partied pretty hard every night, but I also had time to do some reflection and what really is important in life. Im not really the California type, as im happy living on the eascoast in one of the greatest ares in the country, but Californians do have one beautiful state. Being able to watch the sun set over the ocean every night is just medicinal for your being. It did me some good and now being home, Im ready to get back on track and take training to a new level. I only made it to the gym once while there, but im not sweating it. Itll probably take a few days to get back into the grind and im headed to the gym now. Not expecting great numbers, but just great effort. Will see.

Just a few days away from the gray weather of home will do you some real good Pete. I plan on getting away every year to somewhere sunny and warm for at least a weekend every year. It really does reenergize you.

That's what I'm saying...375 front squats is pretty bada**. I think I like front squats better then I like back squats. I'm not sure why, but they are just such an awesome lift!
