The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

Nice ****ing job last session Brian. Ask the person kindly who flipped you off in work if they would mind doing the same come ME bench day no?

    12/13 DL Coan week #6

    ^^Thanks Coke ^^

    Warmup

    SUMO(RAW)
    135x5
    225x5
    315x5 <add belt
    365x3
    405x3
    (85%)455x2

    Speed DL (RAW-no belt)
    (65%)370x3x3

    Power Shrugs
    315x5x3

    SLDL
    365x5
    385x5x2

    BB Row
    315x5

    Underhand Pulldowns
    260(stack+10)x5
    270x5
    280x5

Tested how I felt RAW today since I felt good last squat day. Absolutely no groin pain. This is good news since I really havent trained raw in a long time. The speed DLs werent exactly speedy, but that will come in due time. Just staying with the numbers in the program. Im slowing under knee height, so im going to keep at the quaded mini work too. My back was too French Fried Tatered to do GMs at the end, so I will alternate them and the SLDLs for now on.
This brings me to my decision that since I felt no pain in the groin, I think Im going to compete Jan 30 in the 198 RAW Div in Newark. I know that will make Tone happy My DL sucks, but Ill be happy with 5 wheels or more. Squats ill aim in the 500 range also. And bench ill try for the 350ish range. Now I just need to find time to get my ass to Jersey and Maryland to train with the brohams..

Now we're going to CAPITALIZE RAW instead of talking about loose briefs. Man you just keep giving me ammo.
Brian C: "I'm gonna do the meet RAW!"
Tone: Well that's great but why did you yell the word raw?
Brian C: Because when I type it on the interwebz I type it in capital letters to stress that I'm RAW because somehow people think that going RAW is some amazing feat of humanity and means more than going geared!
Tone: Umm, that's a bunch of **** and capitalizing raw is ridiculous.
    Brian C: I fu(king hate you Tone.

Throw some higher rep DB bench after your main movement and see if that does anything for your off the chest problems. Maybe some more lat work too. You'll figure it out, keep pushing.

Know how you feel Bri but its getting in and doing something when you feel like doing nothing that makes the difference in the long run.

Mate if you figure out something that helps you explode quicker off the chest let me know.... (apart from a shirt LOL). Lats Lats and more Lats eh?

Hey Nick thanks for stopping in. So far I love the Coan routine. This is about the point in the program where the results should start to show, so hopefully i see some decent results. its super DL oriented, and you might need to tweak some of the accessory work since Coan is just a beast who can hit all of it Like its nothing. Im actually rotating the SLDLs and GMs now. its just so taxing hitting both every week.
