    6/7 Squats

    Rep Squats w/chains
    Chains= 210lbs

    Bar+ch x3

    415+ch x3

    505+ch x2
    505+ch x4

    The team trained Friday night instead of Saturday morning because some of us are volunteering for a Special Olympics PL meet. I was really pressed for time and had to cut it short. Template called for 6x3, but I cut it down to 3 and double setted the last. Still fine tuning the new gear template, and we think 2 reps might be more adequate for gear.
    Morning BW 210~212. Right on track.

    First time having 8+ on my back since having the leg catheter(3+ months). Warmups felt good. 825 was a little slow and sloppy because I wasnt sitting back enough into the suit. 915 felt much better, so I said screw it and tried to give a Grand a ride. Picked the weight and thought to myself I had it, but coming out of the hole I stalled as the bands started to release. Happy overall since all my gear fits pretty loose from the weight cut.
    BW is around 210.

    Not a good day. Energy zapped and couldnt even move light weight. Got up to 385 and it was just fucking slow. My body feels totally out of sync. So i went home and slammed a ton of carbs in frustration.

    Still feeling a little off today. Crew is scheduled for speedwork today, but being so close to the meet and not having much time under heavyish weight, i went ro a moderate weight for a few sets. Felt a little heavy but moved fast. Im hoping to start adjusting the diet a little to combat the "offness" im experiencing right now.
    A major weakness I have and has been really ahowing lately is my lower back. Its no secret i have problems. Its the reason I had to switch to sumo. But I really need to start working on building it up and not dodging it. I decided to mimic Dave Kirschen's wave of beltless rack/block pulls to help start building back up. The weight isnt heavy to start, but will gradually increase. Also, im back at it experimenting a little with my sumo technique. Because of the back issues, its been recommended to try a more upright form to releave the lower back and use more of my strength, which is my squat muscles. I have an Ace suit coming tomorrow i found used that ill be using to pull in, so im looking forward to the experimentaion this week. Other then that, I feel great lol. Ill be ready for the meet regardless. Goal is just to hit 2k+ @198. Ill be happy with that this meet. Right now im still sitting around 211.

    Feel that I lost a little strength with the weight cut. 605 moved ok, but nowhere near as quick as it shouldve been. 635 stalled on me, but was because I wasnt throwing the weight back. 2 brd height is a bitch for me since its right at the transition point and I have trouble starting the weight up in the right direction. Team feels that I need somewhat of a deload and I agree from the way ive been feeling. So im going to try out the new dealift suit tomorrow, then take it easy the rest of the week.

    Got the new/used Ace suit and wanted to see how it fit and how my form was getting to the bar. VERY tight in the legs, pretty painful pulling into the bar actually, but easy to get to the bar. Happy with it. I just used 82% bar weight as im supposed to be taking it easy the rest of the week. So weight was a joke. Next week im goung to practice a new way of getting to the bar that was told to me after the fact(by 2 750+ pullers) that should get me in perfect position with the Ace suit. That was it for today. It was late and gym was closing.
