    I'm in the same boat. Not sure how my shoulder is going to hold up in the upcoming weeks. So I'll be making a decision here shortly. Hopefully we'll both feel great and we compete!!!

    Came in today without knowing really how today was going to go. Came off the much needed deload and this week hasnt been anything special training wise. First real heavy day since meet. Started a little sluggish, but then everything kicked into full gear. Weight felt light as hell all the way up to 955 without wraps. So I decided to wrap up and go after the 1000 mark again. Picked it good, but started to lean forward in the hole and my hips shot up first. I know I can get it. Actually I know im better for much more the way the weight felt. So, a good sign as far as competing in August. Will see how bench goes on Monday then make a decision.

    Great night tonight. Felt really good. The shirt is pretty much done for and the chest plate is just too big, so Im very happy hitting those numbers in it. The weight felt light in the hands.     585 looked way too easy, nice job! Training is looking good B, are you still planning on doing the meet? That's cool your son is wanting to start lifting. I hope mine does, lol. Yesterday, I watched him grab my EZ curl bar, put 2.5lb plates and my West Cary Barbell collars (the ones I use for squats), picked the bar up and placed it on the safety pins and proceeded to do some Anderson squats, lol. I stopped him after two, because of safety reasons, lol. ONE DAY!!!!

    Its really cool seeing his interest in lifting already. He swims and plays basketball, so when I told him that it would help his strength in both sports, I think that got him wanting to lift. He keeps asking me when were going again lol.
    I just dont think this meet is in the cards. No real meet prep happening, and I want my lifts to be a little better for it. Shirt issues still keeping my bench way down, and I want my pull at least 650+. As good of a meet this is, I just never was mentally into it. Noy a good way to go in. Just bad timing for me. Laying out a good plan and going to really hammer it and go after the 2200@198 total.

    Since I was the only one using the cambered bar, I pulled first while the crew squatted then got my sets in. Pretty easy weight, but that cambered bar is a bitch on stability. Been awhile since I used it. Little B came to the gym again to squat for the first time and did pretty damn good. Only 65lbs for reps, but nailed his form pretty quick. He then begged me to pull again, so I let him. Pulled a beltless 109lbs for his PR. Hes good for more, but Dad is making do babysteps lol.

    Plan was to work up on a 1 brd. Got to 605 and it was a grinder from the chest up. Shirt is on its last leg. No pop left. So I changed to another shirt, and stupid me set the shirt wrong with an already tight chestplate. Didnt realize it until after I took it off. Couldnt even get the bar down half way. Ill adjust next rime and work up in weight with the second shirt. Ive hit good numbers in it before, so should be good.

    Crazy lower back pump! Couldnt even sit lol. Wanted to see where raw beltless pull was. 545 wasnt that hard, but I know I need some ham work. Weak of the floor but a real fast lockout. Going back to hook grip too. All these biceps popping lately is getting in my head. Dont need that shit happening. I always did set up better with it anyway. Dont know why I got away from it. Ill be starting a new cycle after next weeks deload.
