    11/17 Squat Week 1 Day 1

    First day and it was a little rough. Squats were ok, but my pull isnt quite ready yet for a routine like this. I have to bring it back slowly from the injury. This was the first time pulling since I hurt my back, and the 415 felt like 615. So im going to continue squatting on the program, but just pull on Day 1 of the week only. And ill pull to get my strength back in it, so it might take some time.

    Brian thats a tough looking squat/deadlift session. Your back must have been pretty much toast after those top sets of squats. Awesome start BC. Truly.

    Thanks a lot pal. It was pretty tough, especially being the first real squat session back. Im a little concerned with my pull though. 415 was pretty tough, and is over 100 lbs less than my 1rm. Just a big mindf**k. It will take some time I guess, but its frustrating after making good progress finally on my pull.

    That higher volume should hopefully payoff pretty nice in the long run. Just keep at it and see how it goes!!!

    Took me a long time to recover from my last squat session. I think I may put my new program on hold for a week or two to get my strength back up in both pulls and squats. Ill start it as soon as I feel totally ready to go since its a sh** load of volume.

    If you are feeling that way then definitely dont start yet. Make sure you are ready physically and fully committed because the last thing you want is to stall out in a week or two or even worse, your back to go again.

    ATTENTION: POOR ME RANT COMING

    Well im back after a crazy busy week, a sickness, and some bullsh1t personal problems. Just as I was really starting to come back from the back thing, I caught a case of food poisoning that really slammed me for 3 days. I didnt eat ANYTHING for 2 days and couldnt get out of bed. Then as I got a little better, the thought of eating anything just repulsed me. I finally got food down(and stay down) at the end of the third day of it. I lost 7 pounds too. Then the wife put me out for about 2 days over some stupid crap Im still not sure of So lifting was on the backburner for a bit. Anyway, weight and strength really suck right now and I feel my poseterior chain is super weak. Just have to suck it up and get back to what I was...

    Food poisoning seriously sucks man. I got hit with week long stints the last couple of years, so I feel your pain. You'll get it all straightened out soon. Now go eat something!
