ok- messed with the bands suspended bench for the first time in about 2 yrs..didnt go as well as i would have liked and i have a few questions on them
1. we were pausing singles on the chest- is this wrong? should be be tring to ' race ' them to lockout?
2. are blue bands worth using or should we stick to greens?
3. any other hints for doing them effectively- i bought the westside book but havent had a chance to get into it yet..
Blue bands are a bit overkill. Its almost unrealistic the numbers you'll be hitting with hanging blues. I know Travis has said he messes around with them when he's just playing around, but they aren't something he uses too often.

yeah, i figured they were maybe too much which is why we were pausing- i guess we go to greens and see where we are from there..
damn- even with the blues i was way off what i thought i should have been hitting.
my shirted bench and raw reverse blues are quite similar number wise. Maybe the blues give me 10-20lbs more, but its close.
