    You better believe it.

The Bachman/Limbaugh comment was a joke BTW.

I know, I wanted to make an SNL joke, but didn't know if you voted for him or not.

That video is pretty funny. But the whole constitution argument at the beginning with Geither was something Republicans were trying to hammer home. That Obama and his cabinet don't care about the Constitution and don't care to follow it. Republicans are trying to hammer home that the principles and the American dream are being destroyed by this administration and Congress. After doing her Constitution thing she was probably on every conservative radio show and Fox the next day hammering away at the sound bite.

When are people going to realize that NONE of the powers in Washington care about the Constitution?

I think there could be a revolution, however it would be called terrorism

I very much agree. With the power wielded by modern media I think it'd be very hard to have any kind of revolutionary movement (if they didn't want it to happen).

You gotta get off the couch and stop watching American Idol to participate in a revolution.

I just don't think that the kind of people who have the kind of firepower necessary for taking anything over (Chubrock I'm looking at you) would be too keen on firing on their fellow Americans, especially soldiers.

I know a bunch of people that have said that if the police or military come to take their fire arms then they would use deadly force to prevent them from taking them.

Of course. I'm talking about people taking preemptive action. I just can't see the guy with a gun rack and a Support our Troops ribbon on the back of his truck opening fire (not in defense of property) on his fellow Americans, especially opening fire on military personnel.

Any member of the military who would follow orders to seize people's firearms is breaking the oath they swore to to uphold the constitution and follow lawful orders.

You gotta remember, the military is composed of ordinary citizens. The government has no power without the poeple.

No, just in general. I'd hope if it actually came to the point of revolution in our country that people in the military would side with the citizens.

    This is a moot point.

As I said before, private citizens don't have the kind of weaponry necessary to do much of anything against trained and equipped military personnel. The ones that might have some sort of minor success would be wiped out in the blink of an eye.

Think anything Chubs has is going to do a mother****ing thing against an airstrike?

This is a moot point. A lot of revolutions are started by branches of the military themselves.

Sure their could be a revolution. One would be naive to think otherwise as history tells us it's very possible. The conditions that it would take to really insight a revolt however, may not ever occur.

Any LEO or military member that goes door to door confiscating legally owned guns is no longer upholding the values he swore to protect...You'd probably be surprised at how many LEOs and military men and women feel the same way.

What if the guns were banned? Then they'd be upholding the law. And the military had no problems committing all sorts of human rights atrocities in Vietnam, what makes you think they'll object to wiping out people in America?
