Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

I wonder if Brad Pitt is miscast. I wonder if someone who is a little darker, a little more gruff would be better. But I'm sure it will be cool.

While it may be weird to see Pitt in such a role, just think of how charismatic and smooth Hitler was, yet he was a devilish son of a bitch. Sometimes the smooth exterior is what makes them all the more twisted. I'm sure Pitt can play the role of some cold dude.

Yeah, I just can't see Pitt as a salty, murderous WW2 bastard. He should be a cook and Stallone should be the platoon leader.

I think Pitt will be good. You have to remember the vein of humor Tarantino tends to put into his darker characters. Pitt can pull it off.

Looks good. I think Pitt will be good in the role. I have more of an issue with the dude from the Office being one of the bastards than with Pitt.

It never fails to annoy me how everyone in the internet seems to be a Tarantino bandwagoner. I do wonder if this movie will be good or not though.

I'm not specifically pegging you guys into this hole but I've noticed that a lot of people like to think that liking Tarantino films somehow makes them eclectic. Ironically I usually hear them say he's "original" or "creative".

PS Apparently Michael Madsen was originally supposed to be in the movie but later his character was erased from the script. I don't know why though and am not insinuating that Tarantino and he had any conflicts.
