Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

This week I trained chest with a mate...

My work out days got moved to different days this week due to late working etc and then my mate rung and asked if I wanted to train.. I had done chest 2 days ago and he was up for a chest work out.. As I was a bit muddled in my training schedule I thought, what the hell do chest and start back on the sun, tues, and thurs split...

So I did chest twice in 3 days ! lol I actually once heard that that can be benefifcal as a shock technique.. Mind you it was in musclemag !

Anyway I did flat and incline bench and a set of flyes..

the 2 latter were not normal exercises for me..

I just noticed last night (3 or 4 days after) that I have a red mark on my upper chest (beneath my arm pit).. Like a burst blood vessel....

You think it might have been the flyes, or the new incline bar movement ? Or too much chest training ?

Anything to worry about ? This morning it appears to have gone down some anyway..

I get the same thing, usually on leg day, although it appears on my chest, and biceps. Lasts for a few hours, up to a few days.

I looked into it a little, and came to the conclusion that it is just a heat rash.

Don't really know if that is 100% correct, but it's a good enough expliantion for me. Never had any problems related to it, so i doubt there is anything to worry about.

maybe you just popped a vessel or something from the excessive training; r u you sure its not a little stretch mark?

hmm well it has nearly gone now so I am guessing it was just a popped vessel from overtraining, or maybe going to far down on flyes.. Ahh well all is good now

Hey Hulk, the red mark I had (which I thought was a stretch mark) may not actually be a strech mark either. It seems to be disappearing, I'll send you a picture of my arm pit if you're interested

i get little red dots normaly when deadlifting or leg pressing very hard especially when doing low reps to faluire. the worst time was when deadliftin 530 pounds for my 1rm i had red dots all over my forehead neck and even some of my eye lids. it took about 2 days to go and i looked like alcoholic as my face was red and patchy. But my back was sore as hell and it felt good.
