The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

Yeah, it was horrible compared to my last time in gear 3 weeks ago. I'll gear up again in 2 weeks.

Those unracks were stupid, but I think they'll help me.

Why do you think you couldn't stay tight? Or was it just an off day?

I think it was just an off day. I couldn't push my abs out at all. I'd just fold over near the hole.

Thursday: I ate some bad food Wednesday. It wasn't good.
Saturday: My back was still toast from Tuesday.
Sunday: I just suck and was lazy.

Thanks Coke. My form was awful on the 685. I rolled it in crooked. Oddly, that made me put more weight on my bad knee, and it still went.

haha, we've tried everything to help Kevin's deadlift form. Now we just yell, "head down". Maybe if we yell to do the wrong thing it'll work.

    Thanks Lones. It really is.

Thanks! We're at 14 which is pretty full for the amount of space we have. We had 18 last summer, and that was too crowded when everyone was there.

    Thanks Coke.

Brian, it's crazy when I look back at the garage.

DE squats with 110 lbs of chains:
    285 8 x 2

    Rehab and recovery stuff.

I kept it light and simple. I'm going full gear to take my squat opener Tuesday. Then I'll mostly shut it down for the meet.

    Suited squat:
    665 x 1

It's lighter than I wanted, but I got depth and it was easy. Now it's time to rest until the meet. I've definitely switch squat gear after this meet. I've had a used leviathan for awhile. I think it's time to get it fit and get some predators.

It's a SPF meet at Super Training on March, 20th. My openers are going to be: 677, 545, 633. My main goal is to total 2,000, because having a 1,995 total is just stupid.

Good luck, I'm chasing the same number. Just much different attempts to get there since my pull is nowhere near as good.

Mike, good luck at your meet! Make it happen!

    Brian,

Yeah, I'm actually a real 242 right now. I'm a full 20 lbs lighter than I was at my last meet. I cut to make 242 at that one. My squat gear has never fit right after a cut, so I want to see how this goes.
