The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

Brad is 260-something. He's lost 40 lbs. He posts "progress pics" on facebook all the time. He has quite the following, haha.

    Saturday:

    Squats = completely sucked

DE 2" deficit deads vs short light band:
    365 8 x 1

    Hip, knee, and ankle work.

DE bench with swiss bar vs MM
    135 2 x 5
    155 3 x 5

    Wide grip barbell rows:
    135 4 x 10

    Shoulder work.

    Panora press:
    mini 4 x 15

    Hammer curls:
    45 3 x 10

I'm not sure even he knows at this point. He's doing a raw meet next weekend. He'll either stay around 270 or keep cutting down to 242.

My plan is July, 24th if I get my new shirt in time. Rudy said it'll ship this week, so I should be fine. I'll need 4-5 sessions to break it in. I plan to wear it every other week, so I need 10 training weeks. I actually prefer shirting up once a month, but I go more often when I'm breaking in a new shirt. I'm getting new briefs too, but those are a lot easier/faster to break in.

    Thanks Coke!

Brian, I got the overkill briefs too. I went with 3-ply back and 2-ply front.

Mike, No. It's my first overkill shirt. Cliff has one and loves it.. That's good that you like it. They seem like they are built really well.

My overkill took forever to break in.. the material is very stiff (i just have a 2ply, i think the only mod I have is a slightly lower collar). It seems like its a really good shirt though, I still think it feels like a little more forgiving/springy rage-x.

I went 2-ply on the shirt too. I'm not a big enough bencher for a 3-ply. I'm hoping it'll be between a rage-x and SDP. I really, really liked the SDP. They aren't using the same material they were a couple of years ago though.

Most people are finding it worse, I have not used the new material though.

I still think the old SDP is the best shirt ever made, but they are just to expensive for someone who likes to wear their shirt alot.
