    Wow, that suit does look pretty damn loose in the hips. Squats looked good though, and the suit should work great once it's fitted better. Did Bill take his stance out more? He looked alot wider then I can remember.

    Thanks! I always thought it'd be cool to be able to train at a real powerlifting gym. So I created one

    Brian, I'm not sure if the straps are single or double layer. They definitely aren't as wide though which is awesome. I think everyone had to squat a littler narrower than we wanted in the old mono. We were limited by the width of it. We all go wider now that we have a real mono. The suit is super loose in the hips.

    I mailed it in yesterday to get 1" taken in on the hips. I'll do more after the December meet if needed.

    ME shirted bench:
    495 x 1
    545 3 x 1
    565 x 1

    My goal was to touch and nothing came that close. The shirt slides down off my shoulders when I tuck. I'm going to send it in to get the chest plate stretched. It's frustrating since I got 545 to a 1-bd pretty easily last time.

    Rudy. It's an Overkill shirt and he's the only person I know of that has a machine to stretch the chest plate. Apparently some people order their shirts with the chest plate already broken in.

    The suit is Inzer. The shirt is great. I'm just a little bigger so it doesn't fit the same.

    I got my stance all the way out with my feet touching the sides of the mono.

    That is wide. I've played around with a wider stance but never went out that far. May give it a whirl and see what comes of it. The way my squats been going, I'm close to saying fuck it and just do push/pull meets for the rest of my life. Hell after December my powerlifting days are put on hold anyway.

    It is really wide. I doubt I could go heavy that wide, but it's great for DE work. It hits my hips and glutes a lot more.

    I always thought it was against the rule to have your feet touching the sides on the mono. Bill looked it up in every rule book he could find, and no federation has a rule against it. I thought that was odd, since they all have rules against your feet touching the bench.

    I'm not sure how you'll feel under heavier weight, but those squats with the wider stance looked really good. Your form looked dead on. Nice work!!!

    Thanks! They felt good. I'm going to ME box squat in briefs vs a blue next week. I think I'll try the wide stance and see how it goes. I can always bring it back in a bit if it's not working.

    I've been doing sets of 8 lately and it feels good. I feel like I get in work, but it doesn't kill me.

    ME reverse band bench with average:
    365 x 1
    405 x 1
    415 x 1 (PR tie)

    I thought 405 was my PR, but 415 was a grinder. I didn't have 425 in me.

    Push ups:
    3 x 15

    Barbell rows:
    225 3 x 10

    Shoulder work.
