    ME squat in briefs and suit vs 105 lbs of chains
    617 x 1
    705 x 1
    749 x 1
    771 x miss

    I strained my hamstring on 749 and should have stopped there. There's no bruising so nothing major. I did 661 vs 205 chain last training cycle. 100 lbs less chain and 88 lbs more bar weight is a lot more in the hole. It's probably a better setup.

    Joe DeFranco's Agile 8 is a pretty effective warmup. It's more for mobility and warming up than flexibility though. I need to do some extra stretching for the hamstring.

    I've done that before but it wasnt for long. I was also doing alot of rolling but stopped. I need to get back at it and quit being lazy, lol.

    I think everyone does the same thing with warm-up and prehab work. We do it when something doesn't feel right. Then as soon as we feel good we stop doing it until we tweak something again.

    ME raw bench:
    315 x 1
    345 x 1
    365 x 1
    385 x miss

    This probably wasn't the best ME choice, since my right shoulder is really bugging me.

    Floor press vs 60 lbs of chains
    225 x 8, 8, 8, 7

    These were brutal this week.

    Barbell rows:
    225 4 x 8

    Decline skull crushers
    95 4 x 8

    I rolled a little on my back and IT band, and I felt good afterwards. Then I did some kneeling lunges stretch and that felt pretty good. Now I need to keep doing it and start adding some more rolling and stretches.

    Yeah, that stuff is money to keep yourself healthy. We demand a lot of performance from our bodies. We have to do the maintenance work. Skipping that stuff is a bit like taking a car drag racing every weekend and never changing the oil. Eventually the engine will blow.

    I got my new SDP, so I worked on breaking it in. I worked up to 562 off a 2-bd. It was the first rep I could get my hands all the way out. My goal for next time is to work up heavy off a 1-bd.
