    ME shirted bench:
    556 x 1 (full ROM)
    584 x 1 1-bd
    606 x dump 1-bd

I got impatient with 606 and dumped it about 1/2" over the board. Everything felt like complete crap which means I'm close to a meet.

    Panora press
    MM 4 x 10

    Standing DB press
    45 4 x 10

    Face pulls
    MM 4 x 10

Only heavy training left is squat opener and probably 2nd attempt on Tuesday.

    Geared squats
    705 x 1 (straps up)
    755 x 1 (add knee wraps)
    804 x 1

It seems I've developed an issue with the bar sliding in my back (especially the right side). It's killing me since I pause to regain control of the bar then have to grind out the lift.

Thanks Brian. Looking at the video it looks like I set the bar higher on my left side, then it just gets worse as I lift. My left trap is actually a little bigger. I guess that's something I'll have to work on fixing.

Awesome deload, lol. Do you have someone help you get centered under the bar? That's what I love about the mastadon bar, it has that center section that will help get you get under the bar correctly. I watched it again and that was a heck of a grinder. Whats your best squat?

I do have someone center me. Then I shift to the left just before I unrack it. My best in a meet is 766. My plan is to go 733, 777, then 804. I miss way too many squats at meets, so I'm going to play it a little conservative.

Do you always shift to the left? I remember you said one side of your traps is bigger then the other. Have you ever squatted just center under the bar without shifting? Just curious if it makes any difference.

Yup, I always shift to the left. I'm 100% consistent in what I do. It's just what I do is wrong, haha. My left trap its a tad bigger. My right shoulder is always tighter. That's why I naturally shift left. I'm just going to move my right hand out a little. That should make having the bar centered feel right. I've done it for a long-time, but it's gotten worse. I'm not sure if it's worse because I'm more off center or the weights are just heavier.

    Meet results:

    Squat:
    733 x good
    777 x miss
777 x miss (This one was annoying. It was easy but it went up and down at my sticking point.)

    Bench:
    556 x good (11 lb PR)
    578 x good (33 lb PR)
    600 x miss

    Deadlift:
    644 x good
    688 x good (for 2,000 total)
716 x miss (never got off the ground)

2000 total (5 lb PR) and elite at 275.

I definitely need better GPP. The meet moved fast and I was gassed at the end.

Cliff got 2104 for a pro total at 242. Bill went 2259 at 308. That ties his PR total. He PRed bench and dead, but had an off day squatting.

    Thanks everyone.

Brian, it feels good, but I feel I left weight on the platform. I'm determined to fix my squat. Right now, I'm glad I took today off work.

I understand. I think once you get your squat straightend out you'll be fine.

I did notice the shade of purple you were turning when you were at the bottome about to deadlift, lol.

I may need to rethink breathing before grabbing the bar, haha. My BP was 100/60 when I had a physical a couple of weeks ago. So, it's normally good.

Maybe you are spending too much time at the bottom before you pull? In gear, I like to grab the bar take a deep breath and then drop my hips and pull. If I sit at the bottom to long I feel like I'm gonna pass out.

Yeah. I switched to grabbing in the middle first. Then I grab with my underhand, then the overhand. That way I don't have to roll the bar. Rolling the bar was putting me in an inconsistent starting position. I think I should just practice in my suit for some DE deadlifts the next training cycle. That way I can be quicker at grabbing the bar. I want to try breathing after I grab the bar, but before I pull myself down into starting position too.

DE box squats with buffalo bar vs average bands
    370 6 x 2 (upper back isn't fully recovered)

    Split squats
BW 4 x 8 (right leg was super easy but left leg struggled)

    KB swings
    24 kg + avg band 4 x 8

I'm going to keep the single leg work in until my left leg is as strong as my right.
