Good! Glad to hear it. I am sure you'll be back at it in no time after you give it a rest. Enjoy the belt!

There are all kinds of ways to work around most injuries. Just keep working hard like you are doing and you'll keep having good results.

Nice PR....even a small PR is still a PR, and it feels damn good!

Good luck on hitting your target weight brotha! And good luck on continuously getting stronger!
Its definitely due to cutting weight. The moment i go into a deficit i start getting little pains and aches. I also start getting colds more frequent. I guess its just something i have to deal with. Just have to stay smart with training and go by feel a little more.

    Thanks Bri!

I was very excited. I had no idea they could make such a difference. Thanks.

Thanks John. I need to stay smart, especially with the long period of dieting.

    45 mins of incline walking.

Back was feeling great after this. Moving around really seems to help.

    Squattage tonight!

    Squats
    6,2,2,2x130kg (285lbs) <- PR

    GM
    6,2,2,2x85kg (190lbs) <- PR

    Standing Calf Raises
    3x8x110kg (245lbs)

    Cable Curl
    10x25kg (55lbs)
    10x35kg (80lbs)
    10x45kg (100lbs)
    8x50kg (110lbs)

    Leg Raises
    3x10xBW

Squats felt really good. I am a bit woried about depth (depth seems to come really fast with this wide stance). I asked some guys in the gym and they said i went very deep, so i guess its ok. Form was ok, not perfect though.

GM's are starting to get pretty tough. I am increasing them with 10lbs every time, but i think i might have to go to 5lbs.

Lower back felt great throughout. Forearm is doing well, but i need to start consistent soft tissue work. Found a great article by Cressey, with stuff that i need to start doing on a daily basis.

    Week 11

    AM Weight: 100.8kg (222lbs) - (1.5lbs)

Im getting close to 220lbs. I havent been below 220lbs for quite some time, excited to be so close.

Im holding most of my fat in my legs (inside of the leg the most) and in my lower back.
Waist is measuring just below 38 inches. I started well over 41 inches. Arms measure 15 inches, which is tiny compared to the rest of my frame. Calves are 17, legs i did measure but i cant remember exactly what it was lol (i think around 28 inches).

All in all, i still have a lot of work to do.

Squat PRs and weight loss. Seems like a weird combination, but ride that horse as long as you can. Good stuff Ren.

Thanks OR. I really wasnt expecting to keep my strength, let alone keep progressing on some key lifts.

    Saturdays session

    Bench
    Barxmany
    10x40kg (90lbs)
    6x50kg (110lbs)
    3x60kg (135lbs)
    3x70kg (155lbs)
    1x80kg (175lbs)
    1x90kg (200lbs) <- PR
    1x95kg (210lbs) <- PR

    Kroc Row's
    18x40's (90's) <- right side
    13x40's (90;s) <- Left side

Rack Chins SS FacePulls SS Side Laterals
    10x BW | 15x35kg (70lbs) | 15x7's (15's)
    7xBW | 15x35kg (70lbs) | 15x7's (15's)

    Tri Ext
    20x10's (22's)
    10x10's (22's)

Great session. I really wanted to do something different than usual so i went for a 1RM on the bench. My goal for the day was to hit 200lbs. 200lbs went up smooth and quick so i tried 210lbs. It slowed down halfway through but i was able to get it up. It was still a pretty fast/smooth lift.
Big difference was the spotter i had. Great lift-off and he didnt touch the bar when i got stuck, he just yelled UP! I really miss having a training partner that has the same ideas on training as i do.

I left out any rest pausing and just went for a little higher reps and some supersets. I was pretty much soaked in sweat at the end. Great session.

Going for some extra carbs this weekend. Nothing exciting though, just about 100grams more than planned spread over the two days.
