I would have thought you been had a blender or the one you had broke. Good deal on that though Luna, blending shakes can be a fun ordeal at times, especially as you begin to experiment.

Strange that you mention that LuNa....I just bought a cheapo blender at Walmart today so I can get some shake action going. I grabbed a black and deck for $29 and made Behemoth's ice cream recipe with it today. Worked really well and I cleaned it out in ~30 seconds. If I get a year out of it I'll be more than satisfied.

I also noticed walmart was selling blenders in the 300+ dollar range....must blend steel.

Blending 1.5 cups of oats in my shakes is a really easy way to add some clean carbs and fiber to a diet. I am not an oatmeal fan, but if you grind the oats up first, then add your milk/water, then add your protein, you hardly notice the oats are there.

I had one when i was living with my parents, but that is already a long time ago. I agree, there is lots that you can do to make shakes even more enjoyable.

Wow, that must be one awesome blender. The ice cream recipe sounded really nice. I plan on getting a cheap one as well and just see how long it lasts. I guess with grinding oats and the like it should be fine for quite some time.

I havent had oats in a while because i got bored with them. They are just such a good carb source to have in your diet though. Im pretty excited to try out blending them in.

    Nice deadlift btw!

No cardio last night. My legs felt tired and i was feeling a bit demotivated so decided to rest and spend some quality time with my girlfriend.

Diet was great even though i was really hungry throughout the day. Especially at night, it took some willpower to not eat the leftovers from last week's Skipload .

    Lower in a bit.

    Back Raises
    2x15xBW

    Leg Raises
    2x10xBW

    DC Hamstring stretch

Couldnt stop on the rack pulls. Went for 3, then wanted 6, then 10 and then figured i might as well go for 20. Lost my grip a bit on the 19th rep (damn you stripper chalk), which set me up for a fail on the 20th.

My lower back was completely spent after this and pretty sore. Did lots of back raises which really help with the soreness. The GHR's were mediocre as i didnt have anything left. I skipped bicep work and did a little ab work to finish things off.

Im starving right now and already looking forward to my refeed tomorrow. Will be getting my stuff soon !

Thanks guys. Feeling sore and stiff and ready to hit the carbs today .

Had two meals already and should be getting in another three today. I have had lots of bread with jelly, cereal bars, leftover brownies, marshmellows. Feeling nice and full, little sleepy from all the carbs.

No lifting or cardio today, just getting my rest and the carbs in.

Enjoy the high carb day man! I always slept great after a high carb day myself, it was one of the rare occasions I could make it through the night without waking up lol.

Same here. I normally sleep pretty well during the night, but with the extra carbs i am out instantly. I get very sleepy during the day, so im happy its normally a rest day.

    AM weight: 98.4kg (216.5lbs)

Applying the IF protocol today because i wasnt feeling like eating this morning, still pretty full from yesterday. Will likely have my first meal at 2pm. Today will be relatively low in calories to take full advantage of the extra fat burning effect after the Skipload.

Lower back was sore and stiff this morning but it normally gets better during the day when i start moving around.
