I have a new found love for spinach. Never really liked it, but its awesome at this point in the diet. I add spinach to everything now. Having a salad, i add spinach on top. Making a stir fry, add spinach with some chili sauce. Feel like gnawing your arm off, have some spinach.
Also couldnt believe the nutritional info, 1 gram of carbs per 100 gram and 2 grams of fiber.
I've enjoyed spinach ever since I was a young lad, it was a popeye thing I think.

Ugh spinach....I don't know how you guys can eat the stuff, I really tried but I could just never enjoy eating it. Now broccoli on the other hand I could eat by the pound, mmmmhm broccoli delicious!

Great session. Lots of fun with the pull ups. I took 10 breaths in between every rep on the pull ups. They felt great, especially with the added weight.
Rows were very strict, with a controlled negative and a nice stretch at the end of every rep. I really like machines for rows as it doesnt tax my lower back.
Sleep Slept in for a little bit, got about 9 hours of sleep. Woke up feeling tired though, but it got better after my first meal.
Diet Going to a bday tonight which will be a little tricky but im sure i will be ok. Trying to have my 4th meal (5 in total today) as close to leaving for the party so i wont get hungry. No alcohol as well which should be fine.

Cravings were very strong last night at the bday. There were all kinds of stuff that i normally wouldnt even think twice about, which at this point i couldnt get out of my head. I was able to resist though and still have a good time.
Had a great sleep, got a solid 10-11 hours and im feeling great. Legs and upper back are pretty sore so im happy today and tomorrow are rest days. Diet will be as per usual on both days, nothing exciting unless i decide to go out for dinner tonight .
Haha, way to resist the urge Luna. I probably would have eaten something and chalked it up to a sanity keeper cheat meal. We all have em sometimes, good on you for not breaking. I'm really craving some BBQ...but my plans have been laid out, sticking to them through Thursday, then I get to eat, horray.

Social pressure is the hardest thing to deal with on a diet. I told everyone im dieting so they respect me not drinking or eating .
I give all you guys props with your diets, because I've been there before and it was hard. You guys seem to do it like it's nothing. I want to diet but I'm so lazy now, I hate to do cardio and I love to eat. I'm sure if I put as much effort into my diet like I do my lifting then I'll be fine. Today I woke up at 239.8 and that's the lightest I've been in the AM in over a year.

HIIT, other cardio, and leg training can take a big toll on your legs on a restricted diet.
I like how you implemented different hand grips on the pullups. I have been doing that more and more as well. I do some wide grip pullups and then some pullups with a V-Bar as well. They both have a different feel from one another and both hit different parts of the back.
I have a few modifications to pullups that I need to video tape. I think the way I've been doing my wide grip pullups with a partial range of motion.
