Awesome work Luna. I'm curious about carbs and certain peoples design and makeup etc. When I'm in keto, I feel amazing, even lifting heavy I feel great, have energy, no issues. I've never read much in to body types and such, but I'm curious if some people can just handle low carb/keto diets better than others. I've heard some people complain so much about low carb and not having any energy what so ever, but I'm just not one of those, I have plenty of energy, and feel cleaner and a whole lot better than when I'm eating carbs.

    Yesterday's session

    HS Decline Press
    11x70kg(155lbs)
    9x60kg (135lbs)

    DB OH Press
    11x22's (46's)
    12x18's (40's)

    Cable Tri Ext
    11x40kg (90lbs)
    12x35kg (75lbs)

    Rack Chins
    9xBW
    8xBW

    Sumo Rack pulls
    Mid shin
    8x200kg (440lbs)
    20x160kg (350lbs)

First time doing sumo pulls and they felt so much stronger than my conventional pulls. Im also very happy i didnt have any lower back pain, it felt very stable and strong.

Traps are sore as never before today, which was exactly what i was looking for. I never really liked shrugs and deadlifts dont seem to hit my traps that hard.

Diet for th day was really good. Cut carbs at 1pm and got noticeably leaner during the day.

    Skipload Sundays

Loading again today. Just had almost a whole loaf of bread with jelly. I made low fat brownies, so had one of them as well. Second meal will be more bread (the thing i crave most during the week) and probably some cereal bar's. Going out for sushi as well tonight, so ill have to save some room for that.

Yep . Actually, all this time i thought that my arms were lagging, but now that i have gotten leaner i feel they are proportionate to the rest. I just need to get my whole body bigger if i want bigger arms. Time to squat .

I agree. I guess endo like type do well with lower carbs. I was reading an article a while ago about carbs and body types, and it said that you could do a small experiment to know if carbs were for you. Have a high carb meal (pancakes and syrup for example) and see how you feel. If you want to pass out on the couch, then your diet should be lower in carbs. Not sure how accurate it is, but i just had lots of carbs and feel like taking a nap eventhough i just got out of bed. Im also doing pretty well on lower carbs.

    Am weight: 90.2kg (198lbs).

Its a 1 pound drop compared to last week. Im fairly happy, as im feeling pretty good at this weight. I also feel that the mirror is showing a slightly different picture, as i was looking leaner than last week.

Solid work with the diet and in the gym man, that gets results. I'd say that's pretty accurate when it comes to carbs, after a high carb meal, I usually pass out for an hour, ha.

    Yesterdays session

    BB Curl
    8x40kg (90lbs)
    10x35kg (80lbs)

    DB Hammer Curl
    6x18's (40's)
    9x16's (35's)

    Calf Raises
    3x8x105kg (230lbs)

    Leg Curl
    12x110kg (240lbs)
    14x90kg (200lbs)

    Squats
    6x155kg (340lbs)
    18x120kg (265lbs)

Good session. Was working in with a guy on the squat rack who was huge. He was push pressing my warm up squat weight. Really motivated me to work it hard as well. First set was pretty good form. Second set, form wasn't good on the last couple of reps and i decided to stop at 18 reps. Need to make sure that im not just going for quantity of reps.

I will be traveling for the rest of the week as of tomorrow. I will still get in a session tomorrow (cardio or weights) and will then take the rest of the week off. Havent had time off since i started dieting so i guess it wont hurt. Just prepped my food for the five days. Have bags of protein, bags of almonds and bags of vitamins etc all ready to go.

HUGE squatting LuNa! 265 for 18 following that heavy set of 6 is some great effort. Good stuff keeping with the diet even when you're travelling.

Got back from traveling on Sunday. Diet for those days i was off wasnt terrible, but it also wasnt as good as i wanted. It was however, a very needed break.

I did a Skipload on Sunday and been back on the diet as of Monday. Im aiming to maintain at the moment so i have increased fats and am playing around with some of the foods in my diet. After reading a lot of topics, i wasnt happy at all with my diet. Will be trying to improve that the coming days/weeks. Will make sure to elaborate more on it later, but it includes increasing all macro's slightly and having better timing and food choices.

    Will post training sessions later.
