Thanks guys! I couldn't do 300 for 3x5 on SS, so I guess my body likes not having to go heavy 3x a week

Yup. That's my biggest problem with Starting Strength. Some guys just can't handle squatting three times a week.

I wanted to do 475 but I'm too big of a wimp. It's more mental for me I think. I was pretty freaked out doing what I did even though it was only a 10lb jump.

Thanks for keeping up with my journal coke, I appreciate it!

Just a little update, my BW is at 223 this morning.

Did some cardio yesterday also. Basketball for 15 minutes, 10 min jog, and jump rope for 5 minutes (high intensity).

I want to get down to 200lb.

Good workout. Just disappointed on my bench. Everything else is going smoothly. Neither dips or dumbell bench is helping my bench numbers get up. I think it might just take some time.

    Squat:
    Warm-up 1x10x135 1x5x225
    1x5x335

    Bench:
    Warm-up 1x8x135 1x5x185
    1x3x245 paused 1x2x225

    Deadlift:
    Warm-up 1x10x135 1x6x225 1x1x315
    1x2x465 1x3x415~ easy.

    Dips:
    1x10xBW
    1x10xBW

No doubt, going smoothly in here and that includes the benching imo - hanging tough with it all.

    Thanks Off Road, and Coke!

I'm going to shoot for 465 for 5 reps on the deadlift next time, then I'll go for 500 As for my bench press, I'm not too sure. I'm thinking about deloading, and working back up.

Damn bro, you got a hell of a deadlift there!! That's how I am too. My deadlift is unproportionately higher then the rest of my lifts, but it's my favorite lift so it's all good! Keep up the good work dude.

Thanks Bri! I love deadlifting too, I can't wait until Friday so I can deadlift again. Will definetly hit a PR after the feast Thursday! Thanks for the compliments.

    Volume Day:
Hit a PR on dumbell bench. My barbell definetly has to be higher by now, I hope. I wasn't feeling it today with the squats, so I did 275, and I'll just go on from there now.

    Squat:
    Warm-up 1x10x135 1x6x225
    5x5x275

    Bench (dumbell):
    Warm-up 1x10x55 1x5x65
    1x3x95 1x2x90

    Rows:
    Warm-up 1x10x135
    5x5x190

Workout was early in the morning earlier then usual. Might head down again to do some cardio, and some abs.

I'm 5'11"-6'. I was in the 160 range a little over 1 year ago, and bulked to 230. 223lbs isn't a whole lot, but my bf is pretty high I'm sure. I'll drop to 200, maybe 190 if I can, and bulk again. I regret not eating clean, and doing cardio now.
