You should try out jump rope. I pulled out my old one from high school and its a great tool. I find it much more intense and enjoyable than running for 30 minutes.

Thanks dude. Yeah I have the stretch marks to prove it, haha. I was a fighter like you, so I was relatively lean.

Thanks Dynamo! I'll do that. I did do jump rope like twice since I've been cutting but keep on lagging.

Thanks again Coke! Yeah I guess, maybe I'm just a fat a** haha, I didn't eat clean but I'm always getting compliments from people, including family. They always ask me how long I've been lifting for, and what I do. There shocked to find out I was in the mid-high 160's, and have only been lifting for 1 year. I cant wait to see what I look like after the cut.

Good workout! Feeling strong in everything but the squats today even though I went through the 5x5. Maybe it's from the weight loss, but I'm still making gains on the other lifts.

About Friday, I had a lot planned I was hoping to hit some PR's, but Thanksgiving Thursday through me off. By the time I finished eating Thursday, talked, and cleaned up it was 3pm, so I stayed over at my grandfathers because it's an hour drive home. I will shoot for 465 for 5 this Friday on the deadlift and maybe 275 on the bench.

    Volume Day:

    Squat:
    Warm-up 1x10x135 1x5x225
    5x5x285

    Bench: dumbells
    Warm-up 1x7x50 1x5x70
    5x5x95

    Rows:
    Warm-up 1x10x135
    5x5x195

    Thanks for the support guys!

    Cardio:
    10 minute jog
    5 minutes sprint
    5 minutes jump rope

I'm going to try to keep up with this and hopefully get down to 200.

I plan on deadlifting over 500 in the next 4-5 weeks after I complete my next cycle. 465x5 is a lot. You should be able to get 500 no problem I would think.

I sure hope so. 500 has been my goal when I first started training. I'll keep an eye out on your journal! Thanks for stopping by.

Thanks for all the support guys!

    Unfortunately, today sucked.

I weighed myself this morning, and I was 218. I thought I would be over 223 considering how much I ate on thanksgiving, and all I ate afterwards. I ate like it was thanksgiving for 2 days after.

    Intensity day:

    Squat:
    Warm-up 1x5x135 1x5x225
    1x2x345 1x3x315

Bench: Wanted to attempt 270 or 275 but no spotter and I didn't want to risk it, it was Friday too, and there wasn't too many people to ask. I'm actually glad I didn't ask because I don't think I could have done it anyways.

    Warm-up 1x10x135 1x5x185
1x3x250 Barely got the last 2 but I did it. I'm slow off my chest once I get 1-2" off my chest It's easy.
    1x2x225

    Deads:
    1x10x135 1x5x225 1x1x315
    1x1x465
    1x0x465
    1x0x465
    1x0x465
    1x0x465
I attempted 465 4 times today, I got them all to my knee besides the last one.
    1x4x415

    Dips:
    1x10xBW
    1x8xBW
    1x8xBW

Dips were easier then normal, haha, I was just too tired to attempt more.

I'm not too sure what I'm going to do now. I'm losing strength on my deads, and squat. Could the lose of stregth on the deads be from not doing them for 2 weeks? I did 345 ATF but that fu**** was HEAVY. I'm happy with the way I'm leaning out though, and I had a good time wearing on old pants that wouldn't go past my thighs before. People are noticing that I'm losing weight slightly, on Wed somebody at the gym asked me If I was cutting because I have more definition, and 2 friends told me my face looks thinner. Any tips on what I should try doing? Is this routine good to use on a cut? Should I go light on the squats and deads just so I do the prescribed reps with the same weight for all of them?

    Thanks again dude.

    Volume Day:

Lowered the weight on everything, just wanted to see where I was at. What I did do however was take minimal breaks between sets on the squats I used my phone and only took a 1 minute break. This was very tiring, I felt like I had just ran a marathon afterwards. Only did this because I can't even squat 225 for 11 reps, I'm only good at heavy singles.

    Squat:
    Warm-up 1x10x45 1x5x135 1x5x135
    5x5x245

    Bench: Barbell again
    Warm-up 1x11x135 1x5x135
    5x5x205

    Rows:
    Warm-up 1x6x135
    5x5x185
