The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    Pain In Armpit

So at work yesterday, I felt a pain in my left armpit. At first I thought maybe it was a zit or an ingrown hair but when I got home and checked myself, there wasn't anything there. I don't know if the gland or lymph node is swollen b/c to be honest, I am having a tough time feeling any lumps at all. I think there might be a slight bump but I'm not sure. I have always had glands protruding. In my groin and under my jaw for example. It hurts when I move my arm certain ways and typing this I can feel it, but it is more so a slight burning than the usual pain. Checking the internet doesn't help b/c everything points to Lymphomia or some sort of cancer. So that has me freaked. I went to the gym today and worked out and didn't really feel it too much though. Weird...Have any of you experienced this or something similar?

is your range of motion inhibited? Could be a pulled muscle in RC, one of the small ones.

Go to doctor if you're really worried about it (but if we went to doctor at every slight pain then we'd be going all the time!).

Could be shingles which is stress related i believe. I had them once and I would get a pain if i put my arms over my head.

My wife said it could be shingles too. I have had them before on my leg and they definately suck. The pain isn't as bad as it was yesterday so I am going to give it the weekend and take it from there.

If it was shingles, wouldn't you see the welts somewhere along your spinal tract? When I had them, the red welts and rashes came before any pain.
