The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    That's a real good one.
For me it's anything fast by Amon Amarth (particularly Without Fear, A Fury Divine, Asator, or Friends of the Suncross), Mind Matters by Dark Tranquility, Food for the Gods by In Flames, or Xeper-I-Set by Dissection. I probably associate them with lifting since those are my main songs for PR attempts. Those just light a fire under my ass.

I'd never heard of them either.

Hmm, kinda sounds like the Mudvayne singer in some parts. Guitar is pretty decent in the Antihero song, not really a fan of the vocals though.

Good music for lifting though. I hate screaming crap but I still listen to As I lay dying when I lift sometimes.

God, what are you, some kind of racist?
No but seriously, God Forbid is great until they start singing clean. I don't know who decided that bands needed to start that clean singing ****, but it has to stop. If your name isn't Bruce Dickinson, then STFU.

    Sucide note Part 2.

    Mushroomhead: Twelve Hundred, Bwomp.

    Jingle Bells.
Out of the night that covers me,Black as the Pit from pole to pole,I thank whatever gods may be for my unconquerable soul. In The fell clutch of circumstance I have not winced nor cried aloud. Under the bludgeonings of chance my head is bloody, but unbowed. Beyond this place of wrath and tears looms but the horror of the shade And yet the menace of the years finds, and shall find, me unafraid. It matters not how strait the gate how charged with punishments the scroll,I am the master of my fate: I am the captain of my soul.

One by Metallica or Revolution Deathsquad by DragonForce. Maybe this is because I always listen to these when I'm lifting. I recommend DragonForce to everyone on this board.

on a different note. Am I the only one here who can't stand dragonforce? I mean I listened to one song and liked them. Then I heard about 4-5 more and then I couldn't stand them.

I actually like God Forbid...or at least the Gone Forever album. I saw them with Children of Bodom and they tore it up.

I, like Rick, have a few songs I like for PRs or when I need an extra push for that last set.

    Ace Of Spades-Motorhead
    Armageddon Death Squad-Impaled Nazarene
    Warpath-Hypocrisy
Terminus (Where Death Is Most Alive)-Dark Tranquility
Legions Of The Dead and DNR-Testament

Power metal is an acquired taste. Iced Earth, Stratovarius, Edguy, Sonata Arctica, Dream Evil, Epica, Kamelot, and the like...they're sometimes hard to get used to.
