I took a test bench on Friday. I was planning on a 570 opener so that's what I took. Learned a few things. I don't think I like quarter plate jumps, it might be more volume than I need to warmup. I was disappointed in how I sank the 570. I did not sink that deep on any of the others. I want all my benches to look the same. Anyway, I am changing up my program as a result. I have 8 weeks until my meet. I'll be taking the 570 two weeks out. We'll see how things shake out then.
Lol, WOW! That was one crazy fast press with 570 lbs!

Excellent work Vincent! That sink wasn't as bas as you think it was, but I see what you mean.
I'm sure you'll hit exactly what you want to at your next meet.
Nice lift! I think 95% of the guys here would love to be disappointed in a 570lb lift. (not just bench either)
Dude your a sinking cheater! LOL! As long as you sink and stop and get a press call who cares. It obviously will give you a little more momentum. Sick speed!
Awesome lift! Also, good luck with your meet in 8 weeks too!

Thanks guys. I have determined that if I am going to sink (which I have always done) I need to take a longer press call. I'll put that into practice for the next 8 weeks.
