i´m thinking about switching from my 5x5 madcow to a 3 way split.
1. upper body, pushing motion
2. upper body pulling motion
3. lower body.
I´ve had great resaults with the madcow but i fell my legs are advanding faster than my upper body, and i´m mostly thinking about improving over all physique, strenght second. The great thing about the mad cow however is the well charted progress, slow and STEADY. I´ve also heard that squats and deads are great because of the additional testasterone they force the body to produce.
Would this three way split damage thease advantages the madcow has?
Also a rough suggestion of a routine would be greatly appreciated.
