The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

Where to by Nike arm band MP3 player

Any suggestions on where to look for a Nike arm band MP3 player?

Or what are some of you using for your tunes while lifting?

    Thanks,

    Jake

ipod nano with a belt clip.

arm bands are less than optimal for two reasons: they dont fit around my arm & the cable gets in the way. with a belt clip, you can feed the headphone wire through the back of your shirt.

I would suggest getting one of those 2g, ~$20 mp3 players, I know Sansa makes one but there are a bunch of others. They are really tiny, and I just clip it to the collar of my shirt. The weight room is ripe for accidents involving expensive electronics.

I use my Ipod Touch in the weight room with an armband/case. I haven't dropped it or injured it yet, but I feel like its going to happen someday. It scares me. The only problems I've had with this setup is that it can be difficult to keep the tightness of the armband just right. Early on it will feel snug, then you get your blood flowing and you need to loosen it.

As far as the cord being in the way, just thread it into your shirt and then out through your sleeve. That way there's no loose cord flying around.

I like Sandisk Sansa players. I agree with twm though, arm bands aren't the best. I just clip mine to my pocket and go. My headphones have a clip for my shirt so it doesn't whip around and get in the way.

Tucking the cord underneath the shirt is the ultimate clutch-ness for getting it out of the way.
