First of all I apologise for this noob question.
A friend and I started training together 3 months ago. Neither of us know much about weight training.
He claims that you should stop once you are unable to complete another rep by yourself. I prefer to get him to spot me 3 reps after fail (particularly on the 3rd and 4th sets). I secretly think I'm getting better results, but not sure.
Anyone got a view on this?
