    1 or 2 Prong Belt

    I ordered an APT belt this week end and when it can it was a single prong belt but the description stated that it was a 2 prong. Now this is my 1st PL belt and not too sure if I should sweat it or not what would you guys say.
    Here is what I ordered.

    Either is fine, and both will be far superior to your original belt...

    Were you sent a lower-quality belt or is the buckle just different? When I bought mine I got single-prong because I was told by the more experienced ones here that it's easier to unbuckle than double prong.

    I've heard the double prong last longer, I guess due to the stress on two holes rather than one.

    But, when I went from a one prong to a two, you really notice the difference if you try to cinch it tight and it's tough sometimes to get both holes done.

    A one prong is definitely easier to use but both will be similar in terms of support.

    I think that you will be very pleased in the quality of your new belt compared to what you were using.

    I really had never had a problem with a belt lasting.. one prog for me, so much easier.

    Just stick with the single-prong, it's easier to get on and off. That's a quality belt so the buckle will be fine.

    Like everyone said, there isn't much of a difference, but single prongs are easier to latch.

    APT produces some great belts, it'll be much harder to latch than your previous belt and likely won't be very pliable until you break it in. I have one and its a warm-up in and of itself to get the damn thing on and tight. Definitely utilize the 'lie down' method to get it as tight as possible.

    1 prong!!!! I use a lever belt now, but i used a 1 prong before the lever.
