My lady wants to see it but I don't really think that I'd find watching a dude portray himself as a delirious homosexual could be all that great. Is the nudity female, male or both?.

I think I'm one of the few who don't find Sacha Baron Cohen funny at all.

His Victoria and David Beckham interview.

I laughed. Some of what he says just ain't right.

I know it might be hard to explain but is there any reason you don't think it's funny?

Plz just give the interview a watch if you haven't seen it already.

Male and female nudity. It's Sacha Baron Cohen so you have to expect to be offended I suppose. VERY close-up shot of a penis early in the movie and female nudity-wise only a pair of titties.

It was pretty hilarious. I thought it was funnier than Borat but then again I wasn't as impressed by Borat as I have been with some of his Ali G Show episodes. I saw it at midnight in my theater and the whole theater was cracking up pretty much the whole movie. It's kinda interesting for me I think the funniest parts are the ones that are completely unexpected.

    I'd give it 8/10

I've seen a lot of his material, and oddly enough, was at a premier party for Da Ali G show during Spring Break years back when it was to begin airing on HBO. I think I still have a shirt and hat from that party. Anyways, I learned about him there and never really thought he was funny whatsoever. Don't know what it is, but I'd like to just punch him in the face.

If it's better then borat then thats a good start. I really wasn't all that impressed with Borat and this doesn't look all that funny either. I'll probably watch it once I can download it or something. On a side note I got a downloaded copy of Land of the lost with Will Ferrell and that movie was hilarious haven't finished it but just the first 40 mins were lol.

I know a bunch of people that went to the preview screening last night and pretty much all of them said don't waste your time, it's a rental AT BEST. I hated Borat so I had no interest in Bruno. I always loved Ali G but this new stuff is just a dude being a dick while critics and stick-in-the-ass writers laud him for being a genius misunderstood performance artist.

Borat abused peoples ignorance of ethnic groups.
Bruno abuses peoples ignorance of homosexuality.

some people refuse to get with the times and he exploits their lack of social development. its hilarious.

I loved the Borat character way before the movie came out, the movie was good, but not as great as some past skits (even older U.K. ones). I'm a little iffy on Bruno, he was always my least favorite/least funny character. I'll probably just wait for the DVD.

Probably am gonna see it. Borat wasn't that funny, mostly because it couldn't sustain the laughs for the whole feature, and the novelty wore off pretty quickly. Both Bruno and Borat worked best in the short and sweet format of The Ali G show. Also the big set pieces are the least funny part, it's the more subtle stuff that makes me smile.

Oh please, don't try to call his garbage some sort of social commentary. Borat was terrible and I'm never seeing Bruno.

I don't find him too hilarious either. I can get a few mediocre laughs at most. That being said, I think his Ali G character is the funniest of them all.

Makes two of us then because I thought it was the dumbest thing to hit the screen in a long time (borat)

A lot of people thought it was hilarious so it certainly does cater to different types of humor

A social commentary is the act of expressing an opinion on the nature of society.

I just realized this to be a perfect definition of Cohen's humor. Whether you like it or not, that's what it is.

Three of us. After reading even more on him, I like him a lot less than before.

Bruno had way to much d!ck, balls and gayness for me. I can enjoy a good joke or even something outrageous, yet fundamentally comical, as good as the next guy but I feel like I was conned into paying 9 dollars to see a gay porn. It had its funny parts but there were times were it was just plain awkward to look at the screen. My chick and I would look @ each other like: "what the fuh?"

I'm telling everyone to save their money and go see "Public Enemies".

Well I've always noticed comedy to be very hit-or-miss with people. I hated movies like Knocked Up, 40 Year Old Virgin, and I Love You Man but those films all seem to be the new age of comedy or some **** like that. I've always had a soft spot for this sort of comedy where bystanders end up becoming part of the act. I loved Andy Kaufman's stuff. I love(d) Tom Green's stuff. Now the torch seems to have been passed to SBC. Many of the scenes are the epitome of "outrageous" and that gets laughs from me. I applaud people who have the balls to do things that fly in the face of what is considered tasteful. And more kudos to them if they can pass themselves off as too ignorant to know better.

I laughed my ass off in bruno, but I can see how they definetly crossed the line here. That movie was beyond inapropriate for theatres, pretty much gay porn with a long hollywood storyline.

I thought it was pretty good, but honestly I prefer both characters (Bruno and Borat) in the show doing sketches. The uncomfortable scenes with regular people are hilarious to me, the staged/scripted stuff is a little blah.
