On bench & row days, what stretches do you guys do? I'll stretch out my chest by lying on the bench and holding a plate (10), and relaxing in the open butterfly position, letting the weight pull my arms down. Then (standing) I'll put my fists in the small of my back, and arch my back while trying to touch my elbows. This seems to loosen me up fairly well......are there any other chest/shoulder specific stretches to try?
before I bench I do standing OH press and bench with just the bar for a few sets. i'll use a 2.5 lb plate and do some slow H rolls, reverse windmills, and some side raises. I also try to stretch the area every night or every other, but I have a bad right shoulder.
