Glad to hear things went as planned, Hopp. Did they not give you some sweet painkillers?
This is the true joy in life, the being used for a purpose recognized by yourself as a mighty one; the being thoroughly worn out before you are thrown on the scrap heap; the being a force of Nature instead of a feverish selfish little clod of ailments and grievances complaining that the world will not devote itself to making you happy - George Bernard Shaw

It does, but I didn't experiment the worse pain they were telling me I would have 24 hours after the surgery. It doesn't hurt at all when I'm laid up in bed, but it sure does once I get up.

Thanks Justin!!! Yeah, they gave me some pain killers. I was taking 1-2 every 4 hours like it says. But then I backed off and I'm taking 3 Tylenols every 4 hours.

I still can't walk on it, even though he said I can put weight on it. But I am trying my best to keep it moving, even if I'm not bending my knee.

Probably a good idea to keep your feet up and not rush things, no pun intended.

Wish you well, time is always the key in these matters - at least the worst it over bro.

Your right, I probably need to stay off of it. But sometimes I just have to get up and start moving around. I'm not sure if the worse part is over yet, I have a feeling that rehab is going to be the worse part, lol.

So far so good. Take as little of the pain medication as you can get away with, imho.

Stay strong Brian, hang in there bro, you got this. Just listen to the doctors, most of them know what they're talking about half the time.

Thanks Joey!!! Right now I'm only taking them when I go to sleep. I didn't have any all day today and I really didn't need them.

Thanks Marcus!!! I'm a little nervous about how painful the rehab will be, but I'm going to give it my best.

I'll admit. Physical therapy was insanely frustrating. I couldn't even step down from a phone book under control. I'd bend my knee a little then free fall until my foot hit the floor. A phone book is 3 or 4" thick! You just have to keep at it and realize it's part of getting back to squatting and deadlifting. You'll get back to 100% and more!

Damn it man, that sucks. I'm sure it's going to be frustrating, but like you said it's part of getting back to squatting and deadlifting. So no matter what, I just need to do it. I went to the rehab place today to drop off some papers and it looks really nice and it's fully equipped with weights and machines. Hopefully I'll be able to get in soon.

Attitude is the biggest factor in recovery. Your PT is going to enjoy working with someone with your training ethics. You're going to do great!
