Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    weird pain

today I was doing deadlifts, they weren't especially heavy or anything, just normal working weight, and by the middle of the second set and all through the third my right trap felt like some one was jamming a pen/ice pick/etc. in it in one very small area, any ideas?

did you turn your head (to check out a girl) during the rep.

This can really pull a muscle up there.

    hahahaha, funny stuff

But, he's right. Take a couple of days off and see how it feels. At 46 years old, I get aches and pains all the time. If they persist, then I see a chiro or doc and get them handled.

With anyothr exercise checking out a girl is a plausible reason, but I'm as focused as I can be during deadlift, interesting theory though, and it doesn't hurt at all when I was in between sets, or after I was finished, only while I Was actually lifting the weight, and only with deadlifts
