Had a lot of trouble getting around the forums the last few days here. I am going to update my whole week here in one post. Had to train Monday, Wendnesday, and Thursday this week.

    Monday

    Bench with Chains
    Bar x 10
    Bar x 5
    Chains x 3
    +95 lbs x 3
    +135 lbs x 3 x 8 sets(3,3,2)
Then did 2 sets of paused triples which moved good as well.

    DB Bench
    70 lber's x 15 x 3 sets. Tried to move these fast too

    Incline Skulls

    35 lbs per side x 12 x 3 sets

    Rope Pushdowns
    +25 lbs x 15 x 3 sets

    Rear Delts

    4 sets of 12

    Tuesday
Cleaned the house. Took the cat outside. Ordered an iphone 3gs which came today. Sweet.

    Wednesday

Safety Squat Bar with Strong Bands

    Bar x 10
    Bar x 5
    135 lbs x 5
back to the bar with bands added x 5
    +95 lbs x 3
    +135 lbs x 3
    +185 lbs x 2
    +225 lbs x 1
    +265 lbs x 1
    Added Belt
    +290 lbs x 1
    +315 lbs x 1. 5 lb PR

    Chain Suspended GM's. Close Stance
    135 lbs x 10
    155 lbs x 5
    185 lbs x 5 x 3 sets

    Glute Ham Raises
10, 6-tried to do these with my hands behind my head. were a little ugly. , 8, 8

    Abs
    3 sets

    Thursday

Bench with Chains. Ring on Ring.

    Bar x 10
    95 lbs x 8
    135 lbs x 6
    Chains
    +135 lbs x 3
    +165 lbs x 3
    +190 lbs x 3
    +225 lbs x 1
+245 lbs x 1. This was the max today. I went to 260 lbs, but needed help last time. Would have needed it here as well. This was perfect. I am doing all singles with pauses.
+185 lbs x 7. Reps 4-6 had a pause and press call. I just wanted to get 7, so threw the last one up as soon as I touched

Straight Weight 225 lbs x 12. Got more reps with this on a DE day a few weeks ago, but was still a worthwhile set.

Recovery walk. Probably close to 4 miles. Made it through Blood Mountain(minus the 20 minute Pendulous Skin stuff) and most of Hybrid Theory walking. I hated that cd and Linkin Park when it first came out. 10 years later I really appreciate it, even if it is mall metal.

I am lucky to live in a nice little town where walking a lot of different routes is an option.

On my own this week, training at the old gym. Nothing fun to add for accomodating resistance, so all straight weight. No mono lift or 55 lb squat bar either.

    Box Squat

    Bar x 10
    Bar x 5
    95 lbs x 5
    135 lbs x 5
    185 lbs x 2
    225 lbs x 2
    275 lbs x 2
    315 lbs x 2 x 6 sets.
    365 lbs x 1
    405 lbs x 1
    These all flew

    Deads
    135 lbs x 1
    225 lbs x 1
    290 lbs x 1 x 6 sets
    These flew too

Tried to rig a glute ham raise with the lat pulldown machine, but couldn't do it. Did hamstring curls instead.

    110 lb stack x 12
    125 lb stack x 10
    140 lb stack x 8
    110 lb stack x 10
    90 lb stack x 12

This was the most I ever got out of lying hamstring curls. I think all the glute ham raises I have been doing have allowed me to utilize my hams in a way I wasn't before.

    Hanging Knee Raises
    15, 12, 12, 10, 10

    Chins
    10, 9, 6, 5, ,5

    Barbell Curls
    125 lbs x 8
    115 lbs x 10
    95 lbs x 12

Really enjoyed training on my own today. Threw the ipod on with the headphones and got in a zone I haven't been in for awhile.

Feeeling them this morning. Went to Hershey Park yesterday. Freaking tourists got in the way of me being able to get on a lot of rides . Great day outside and did get some good walking in. For what it's worth, here is what I are yesterday.

Breakfast- Spanish omlet, homefries, rye toast, pancakes, oj
Lunch- NY strip, asparagus, green tea
snack - two scoops nitrean in milk
Dinner- NY strip, crab cake, brocolli and carrot, house salad, rasberry tea

Drank a lot of green tea throughout the day. Breakfast was huge and kept me full until noon. Did not exert much energy, so cutting down on calories on days like that. Don't count calories, just going by other factors.

Felt good to take some time off. Rolled yesterday. Worked escapes. Was planning to lift today, but training partner was not able to get in. Did head back out to the gym to lift off for a few benchers this afternoon. We have a few lifters at Power Pooloza next weekend. Anyone who will be there come up and introduce yourself. I will be the tall skinny guy probably wearing a Max Fitness t-shirt.
