    Do what works best for you, as long as it doesn't bother your bicep. I think the dead stop reps bother my back more then touch&go, but I can see them helping me in the long run.

    Busy 3 day weekend. Been checking every chance I have, but didn't have time to log the workout until now. Pretty good one. Kept the belt away for the squats for now. Would prefer not to put it on until I am back over 400.

    Moved the grip out a tad more on these. Pinky on the ring. Don't think I'll go any wider than that though.

    Was busier after the gym, but it was a good way to start out Sunday. We train at 9:00 am Sunday morning. Here is a video of the last set of bench for kicks. Watching it, it looks a lot easier than it felt. I probably can replicate my awesome competition bench of 255 right now.

    I would say 65% right now, but progressing quickly. The bench comment was a stab at how pathetic I did at the competition. I have a gym best pause bench of 315(which is still ****), but only got 255 in the fall, failing twice at 290. Plan was to do 255, 290, and somewhere between 310-320 as I had lost some weight. Thanks to everyone for the encouragement. Trying to hammer the form as best I can with these lighter weights. Should pay off in the long run.

    415 x 5. Straps and double overhand grip for this one. From here on out using straps for the top set. This was my best set by far. Think I could have got 10-12 right now. Second set I got a bit lazy with the light weight, Should have videoed it. Maybe next week.

    Decline Sit ups 3x8. 5 count for the negative.

    15 minutes stretching.

    Correct guys. Matt, and you can call me either. Middle name is Joseph and high school football number was 54. So picked that as a screen name way back in college.

    I feel with a belt I can get mid to even high 4's squatting right now. It is not out of the realm of possibility I could do 5 in April, but if I do a meet, I just want to do it for the experience. My bench form has gotten so much better since getting hurt and having to start out light.
