Deadlift day and a few other things. Going to be away for the weekend, so wanted to make sure I got inclines in, even though bench was yesterday. Deadlift today was primarily done by my upper back. The worst sets were the 5 and 3. The singles weren't bad and felt quite light.

    Deads
    135 x 5 x 3
    225 x 5
    275 x 5
    325 x 3
    405 x 5
    460 x 3
    510 x 1 x 3

    Incline
    135 x 5 x 3
    160 x 3
    200 x 5
    225 x 3
    250 x 1 x 3. Did 3 on the last set

    HS Pulldown
    PPS + 35 lbs ps x 12, 10, 10

    Hammer Curls
    50's x 12 x 3

    Stretch

Solid work with the deload, lighter lifts manage to keep us in the game...can't go max out each outing.

Coke, I just want to give it my all each time.

Today wasn't great. Now it wasn't terrible either, but just didn't go quite like I wanted it to. But looking over everything, it was pretty damn good.

    Bench
    Bar x 20, 10, 5
    120 x 5
    145 x 5
    175 x 3
    205 x 3
    235 x 3
    260 x 3 x 3
    Slingshot
    295 x 3
325 x 1. Was looking for 3 here too, but the previous set and the first rep knew it wasn't happening.

    1/2 thumb from the smooth
    275 x 6,5
    took slingshot off
    235 x 4

    DB Bench
    75's x 12 x 2
wanted to do the 100's did a set for 5

    Tri Ext
    70 lb bb x 15, 15, 12

    stretch

Bako, I would like to work on that grip for sure. Maybe I'll mess around with the bar first for a while to see if if can get more flexibility there.

    Today
    Incline
    Bar x 15, 5, 5
    115 x 5
    135 x 5
    160 x 3
    190 x 3
    215 x 3
    240 x 3 x 2
    240 x 5

Chins- used a neutral grip for all sets. Best on the shoulders and seems to hit the late best.
    + 30 x 8,7,7
    Bw x 10, 8,8

    HS Pulldown
    Pps+25 ps x 12 x 3

    Side DB laterals
    30 x 15, 15, 12

    Rope Pushdown
    20 lb stack x 15 x 3

    BB curl
    70 x 15
    90 x 10

    Hammer Curl
    45's x 12 x 3

    Stretch

Have a newer gym partner. We have been lifting together now almost two months and he seems to be enjoying the power based training. He was just kind of doing his own thing in the past. Today he told me he saw another gym goer last night and the person asked why he would want to lift with me, as all I do is squat and stretch. Haha.
