The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

It’s no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

I've been giving alot of thought about going back to 531 after this meet. If I do, I'll probably do the same and combine squat and deads. Like you, I've had good progress combining the two.

Brian, I think you would do well with pretty much any type of training. When I don't overdo it, I do as well.

Bench today. Did this in the morning. Took off work today to have a 4 day weekend.

    Bar x 15, 5
    95 x 5
    120 x 5
    145 x 3
    165 x 5
    190 x 3
215 x 9. With the way this was moving it felt like an easy 10 early on, but I just died out at 8.
Waited about 2 minutes and hit 265 for a single just to feel it. Training on my own, so no sling shot overload work, as I have trouble unracking with that thing on and my longer arms.

    Close Grip
    155 x 12, 10, 9

    DB Bench
    65's x 9, 9, 10

    Tri Extensions
    25's x 12, 10
    15's x 20

    Hanging Leg Raise
    3 x 8

Percentages to a t Brian. They are really light. Then did a little extra rep work with the first sets weight because these sessions are so quick. Oh press and bench it was 5 of 10. On squats and deads it was a total of 5 of 10 for both lifts. 3 squat, 2 deads.

I'm planning on doing the same thing, but for my deadlifts I'm going to do sumo, for bench I'll do floor presses and for squat I'm just going to change bars. I'll just focus on the main lift during the 531 days.
