    Was expecting more like 6 or 7. But, my lower back was feeling a bit tender yet from Friday. After this hit 470 x 1. Pretty easy. No knee wraps and walked out. Hopefully can re-adjust to the mono warming up next Saturday and hit a pr.

    It shouldn't be that bad. I'm sure once you use a mono in the warmup room you'll be fine.

    Finished up with bench last night. 255 x 6. Again, was expecting 7 or 8. That deadlift last week really seemed to take a lot out of me. Feel pretty drained right now, so par for the course a week before a meet.

    Feel really worn down and beat up. Exactly where I want to be. The last two training sessions before a meet I like to do all 3 lifts. Nothing difficult, but I can't just go a whole week resting.

    Wanted to do a few more sets with knee wraps just so they don't throw me off Saturday. Got a good wrap technique down I can do myself which fits pretty snug.
    335 x 1 with belt too
    375 x 1. Belt and wraps. 75% of opener

    Bench
    Bar x 8
    105 x 5
    135 x 3
    175 x 2
    With commands
    205 x 1
    235 x 1. Wrist wraps. 85% of planned opener

    Deadlift

    Chris and Terry thanks for the well wishes. Went ok today. Not the best, but tied my DL pr at 20 lbs lighter.

    Weighed in this morning at 219.8.

    Squat
    Warm ups
    Bar x 5
    145 x 5
    235 x 3
    305 x 1
    Belt
    375 x 1
    435 x 1

    All attempts belt and wraps
    1st- 500. Good
    2nd- 535. Good
    3rd- 570. Miss. Lost tightness in the hole. Think this is something I can work towards in the near future

    Bench
    I hit my opener at 275, which seemed tougher than it should have. Missed 290 on a second, but it actually felt better than 275 off the chest. Passed on a third.

    Deads.
    1st- 550
    2nd-620

    Passed on my third. 1430. Off from my last meet by 25 lbs, but again a good 10 lbs lighter than last year. Lots of good lifting today. Tone who posts here hit almost 2000 raw. Brian c, again great to meet you dude.

    Thanks Brian. I was happy with it. Changed my form up slightly just in the last phase of training. Feet a little wider and hands at half thumb from the smooth rather than right next to it. Pull is much more fluid now.

    Light week post meet here. Gonna incorporate a few ideas for the next month, than have a week vacation. From there, we'll see.

    Upper accessory

    DB bench
    70's x 12, 12, 10

    DB row
    70 x 12, 12, 10

    Lat Pulldown
    3 sets of 12. Don't know what the stacks are. It is a double pulley. Nothing taxing.

    Rear DB lateral raises
    15's x 12 x 2

    Lying Tri Extensions
    15's x 15 x 2

    Dips
    Bw x 12 x 2

    BB curl
    70 x 15 x 2

    Hammer Curl
    35 x 15

    Hanging leg raise
    3x 6

    Upper stretch including 2 sets of shoulder dislocates

    10 minutes eliptical

    Got all this done and helped my gf out squatting and benching in under 90 minutes. She started lifting in may. Hit 120 for 5 in the squat and 75 for 5 on the bench.

    6 ft 1 inch guys, so taller than most in the class for sure. Brian not sure if she will compete, but she enjoys it so far. She does 5ks and half marathons, but it seems she likes lifting as much as running now.
