Today was a pretty good effort too Coke. I overestimated my strength a tad, but it is something which is attainable in the close future now.

    Reverse Band Deadlift
Sumo Stance, Green Bands choked from position 23 in the power rack

    225 lbs x 5
    315 lbs x 5
    405 lbs x 3
    495 lbs x 3
    545 lbs x 1
    Added Belt
    585 lbs x 1
    635 lbs x 1
665 lbs x miss. got it going, but my body just started shaking halfway up and I couldn't pull it. Probably looked similar to King Kong's 725, but I didn't fight to finish it.
    545 lbs x 4

    Front Squats
    135 lbs x 5
    225 lbs x 3
    Added Belt
    275 lbs x 3 x 2 sets

    Glute Ham Raises
Did these with the foot support closer in to the pad than Sunday. Working on 30 total reps right now. Took 6 sets. 6,6,5,6,4,3

    Reverse Hypers
    45 lbs ps x 10
    45 lbs ps+25 lbs ps x 10
    45 lbs ps+ 50 lbs ps x 10 x 2 sets

    3 x 10

Coke, me and a couple of my buddies have been doing this for over 3 years now. It is nothing major, once a week. The equivalent of pick up basketball. It does inrease one's appreciation of the little things when watching MMA fights. I am impressed by some sweeps as much as knockouts.

    1/25

Unseasonably warm here in PA. Went for about an hour walk outside. Not a grueling pace, just strided it out. Maybe close to 4 miles total. Then stretched for 20 minutes when I got home.

Squats with purple bands. Last week for these. I set the pins at the lowest setting, choked the band on that, and then wrapped it under and through the power rack. Better tension. Mike noticed the bands were completely letting go when I was sitting on the box when they were just choked at the bottom of the power rack last week. Last week with these bands.

    Bar x 5
Added bands and box x 2
    +135 lbs x 2
    +185 lbs x 2

Deads- been using the hook grip on these days
    135 lbs x 5
    225 lbs x 3
    275 lbs x 1 x 6

5x5. Went back to 6 1/2 holes showing on the last set. Might be ready for this soon enough

    Reverse Hypers
    Purple Band
    4 x 12

    Abs
    4 x 12

    Chins
