It is a nice way to recover, that is for sure Coke. No reason to walk on a treadmill at the gym when I can be outside.

    2/2

I certainly hope I don't have to relive this day over and over again like that movie. It was not fun, apart from a good workout.

Bench with minis- last week for these* I have been doubling the minis.

    Bar x 10
    Added mini's x 8
    +95 lbs x 3
    +115 lbs x 3
+ 135 lbs x x x 8 sets(3 thumb from smooth, 3 pinky on ring, 2 index on ring). My best speed and workout yet. Form is starting to come together.

I just got work in with everything esle, as you can see. Switching the assistance exercises next week in all workouts as well.

    Standing DB Press
    35 lb db's x 12 x 3 sets

Fat Bar JM Presses from the floor
    25 lbs ps x 12 x 3 sets

    Pushdowns against monster mini
    3 x 20

    One Armed DB Row
    45 lb db x 15 x 3 sets

    HS Pulldown

I was able to hit that same weight a few months ago, but in briefs and knee wraps. About an hour walk this evening outside. Snow is coming tomorrow.

Shoveling out and cleaning off cars outside, followed by about a 20 minute walk.

We got close to 2 feet Connor. I am near Harrisburg. My brother lives near Pottsville and my Parents live near Reading. Both get less than we did.

It is a good group. Rumor has it Shay is going to take a ride at 800 lbs for the squat at 165 lbs on his third attempt this weekend at the Barno Newman. He hasn't been training squat with us recently, so it will be interesting to watch. Was not able to train Wednesday due to the snow.

Some of my best front squats yet Coke. I also shoveled out my car yesterday in about a half an hour in the morning. Good GPP session. Didn't do much back workout tonight due to that. Plus having 2 big workouts back to back due to the snow.

I know Harrisburg well. I went to Gettysburg College for 3 years.

Front squats are looking awesome! I'm sure the shoveling was killer. That was a pretty intense storm.

Gettysburg has a nice campus from what I remember. Ridiculously expensive. I forgot to include the lying dumbbell tricep extensions we did yesterday. 3 sets of 10. Got to roll this morning for about an hour. Worked a lot on guard passing right to side control.

Box Squats- Got to use the other rack which has band pegs today because we now have a competition bench. Also started ealier than everyone else, but stuck around to spot and lift off until everyone else had their heavy stuff done. That is what a good teammate does.

    Bar x 10
    Bar x 5
I do warm up exercises for about 5-10 minutes before I start squatting too. I don't just do the bar 2 times as my only warm up.

Added Green Bands(average) choked around the band pegs and a box. Had to adjust the weight to make sure I was fast enough, so a little lighter in weight this week. Going to use this set up when using bands to squat from now on. x 2, x2
    +135 lbs x 2
    +185 lbs x 2
    +225 lbs x 2 x 2
+250 lbs x 2 x 6 sets, No belt today. Core was feeling solid

    Deads+ 40 lbs of chain off a 3" box
    +135 lbs x 3
    +235 lbs x 1
    +285 lbs x 1 x 6 sets

    Glute Ham Raises
    9,8,,6,6,7=36 total

Reverse Hypers with an average band
    3 x 15,12,10

    Weighted Decline Crunches
    +10 lbs behind the neck
    3 x 10

    Chins
    4 sets of 6

    Hammer Curls

    45 lb db's x 10 x 4 sets

Unfortunately Shay did not hit 800 lbs at 165 this meet. He will have to give it a go in the future.
