    Bench press arch

    when you arch before doing bench press,does your lower back hurts?

    I can feel some tension in my lower back; similar to military pressing. Try squeezing your core really tight when you press.

    Doesnt hurt, but you can tell your working it! Maybe a bit sore too if your not used to it/ or arching very hard, but should NOT be a PAIN sesation.

    If you're hurting on your arch when just setting up for bench, you need to probably see a doc to find out what's wrong.
    Give chalk a chance.
