    OMG - Super Katana

    Tried my new super katana out for the first time tonight. Could barely get it to touch a 3 board. The chest plate and neck on that shirt are amazingly tight. Gonna take a while to break this one in. I got the super cut version. Should I just continue to work on boards each time?

    Like Ryano said. I'd also get a 1/2 board (a piece of 1 x plank) to make smaller declines in the boards. You got plenty of time. Example: stack the 1x on the 2 board for a 2 1/2 board. It's a less drastic drop down and can be reach without as big of a jump in bar load. Just work it down over the next few weeks from 3 b, 2 1/2 b, 2 b, 1 1/2 b, 1 b, 1/2 b , and finally the chest. If you are patient and don't try to rush it, your strength will build as you handle more weight working it down. Good luck.

    Next week I am starting a %'age workout routine for 4 weeks, first two weeks are deload. Sort of like the 30lbs/30 days program. I'll try to work down a 1/2 board every week.
