this has been going on for a while. i started out this week weighing 220 n now im at 213. and if my guess is correct this will be lower by fri. then it'll shoot up again. can anyone explain this?
Assuming that you're weighing yourself at the same time each day under similar conditions(naked, after eliminating, etc), I'm not sure. It could be a difference in water retention - are you taking creatine? You could lose all that weight in water if you switched from taking creatine to taking a diuretic, for example.
I'd say you are losing weight too fast. The ideal rate is about 2 pounds per week to prevent a maximum amount of muscle loss. If you continue to lose weight at that rate, you are probably losing alot of muscle too.
Make sure you weigh yourself at exactly the same time to be consistent, you should weigh yourself first thing in the morning. Your weight fluxuates throughout the day so you could be + or - 5 pounds throughout the day due to water weight.
Keep the weight loss slow and steady
i weigh myself at the same time n same conditions. as for muscle loss my lifts continue to go up n my energy level is up so im guessing im not loosing muscle.
I'd have to say it has something to do with water retention. I got sick a couple months back and stopped taking creatine. By the end of the week of being sick, I had lost nearly 10 lbs. All in water weight from the creatine (I assumed).
but im not taking any creatine. just a multi n vit c.
R u taking in any diuretics (water pills)? It's possible to drop 5lbs of water in a day (i know i'm a wrestler). U said u take Vitamin C, which is a diuretic. To make sure youre not lying to urself, drink plenty of water.
