So basically after a set of skull crushers... I take a 60 pound curl barbell and decide to do standing military press for reps. I grab it about a hand widths from the weight on each side. I put it up and press... I lower and press again... as I press again i feel a sharp pain in both shoulders that I would estimate is coming from my side delts... I mean its hard to tell because it hurt enough that I didnt dare keep going to guess. Its the shoulder after all. I guess I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong but thats impossible to tell with the given information. I mean I can mention that I unrack the weight myself and rerack myself because I don't have a spotter. I know its bad, but I don't trust anyone. This is why I didn't want to bench press yet. I figured I would just work on my deadlift. in any case, would that have anything to do with my shoulders? Would underdevelopment cause pain? Any help at this point is appreciated... thanks guys.
