The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

Success is achieved by doing a little more than you thought you could, and a lot more than anyone else.

haha i'm on collegehumor constantly and i knew before i clicked the thread what video you were going to be posting. hilarious. my dog does that all the time too (though not when i'm lifting thank god).
    ain't nuttin but a peanut.

You will have gotten stronger when the weight that feels heavy is actually heavier than the weight that feels heavy now. Then the weight that feels heavy now will be a warmup for the weight that feels heavy then. But the weight will always feel heavy or you're not lifting enough weight. Clear? -Rippetoe

That was hilarious. Totally didn't see that coming.

What exactly is the dog doing when they do that? Nut scratch, or butt scratch?

It usually has to do with their anal sacs.
Usually when a dog takes a poop, the poop traveling through their sphincter causes the sacs to secrete a small amount of liquid that adds their "special scent" to the droppings.
Sometimes the glands aren't expressed enough during a bowel movement, but they still get stimulated and this irritates the dog, so the dog will drag its butt across the ground to express the glands further.

My corgi is prone to not expressing the glands enough, so I don some rubber gloves, a little bit of lube, and squeeze the evil fishey smelling devil juice out of his butt every once and awhile.
