The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

Started my new job at lowes this week being a service rep vendor in millwork and my body certainly feels a hell of a lot better after the first day. normally after the first day i've put around 6,000 to 8,000 pounds of material above my head with my damaged shoulders, this week i've put up less than 1000 so far. i'll probably have around 1,500 to move today but that shouldn't be bad at all. i'm really hoping this makes a difference in my chronic tendonitis and joint health (wrists shoulders elbows and such). fingers are crossed there's a nice turn around coming.

    Light Lower

    SSB squats up to
295+blue bands 7x3 got a little tough but was supposed to be the highest RPE (8) that occurs on the light day. next we wave down majorly

conv block pulls below knee joint
up to 539x1 meant to be 5 but hamstrings felt torched in a major way. as in going to pull apart if i did more

shut it down and went home

    Light day upper

    up to
275 7x3 all moved very well

    slight incline db press
    60's x8
    80's x8
    95's x8
110's x6 shoulders got a little squirrely so i stopped

    stopped there

    Heavy Squats

had to walk out everything in a moderately narrow rack with a wood platform. 3 things i don't like, narrow, wood floor, walking out.

worked up to 565x1 no wraps
    add wraps
605x1 pretty easy thought about a double then disagreed.
    655x1 narrow miss

    Down Week Upper Light Day

broke a rule of de-loadness and did everything different today than normal

no touch bench (maybe lightly touching t-shirt)
up to 185 4x8. probably gonna keep this as a secondary movement to try and increase chest mass and general strength.

805x miss - a nice wtf moment here. got a little forward and lost it. this was a VERY good lesson in why trying to side spot with the crook of your elbow hugging plates is a horrible idea. linked wrists!

805x1 came back and got it and had to leave.

only explaination i have for being that weak is plowing up "tater" rows with my gpa and uncle the day before. never been put on an old timey plow getting pulled before. core was toasted.

for those that don't know, it's this.....
