    Meet report

    weighed in at 194, what was back up to 215 meet day.

    squat
    830 good - judging was very tight which i'm a fan of.
    860 good - quite deep again
    passed 3rd

    bench
    470 good - easy rep, real conservative.
    500 miss - real conservative shirt set up, took it off and readjusted
    500 good - turned the shirt on that time

    deadlift
    630 good - real easy
    725 miss - jumped here as it was what i needed for the best lifter and arnold qualification. had it locked out and looked at head judge but it just slipped out of hands before down command
    725 miss - above knees but back was tired, tore callus as well.

    total 1990 which is quite sub par for me but i just played formula games all day. In retrospect i guess i was lucky to have a chance at the end to try and pull out the win. Never felt this incredibly unprepared to go to a meet. It certainly showed in my squat being 50+pounds off since i only had 1 session in a suit and just one rep over 800. Probably off to semis in october if i can afford it.

    Alrighty, Left for a week to go on my honeymoon with the wifey and trained once on the boat and had sore tri's the entire trip pretty much. starting back this week trying not to overdose on DOMS.

    since my meet when i balooned up to 221ish before my meet i've dieted a bit and done cardio the last 6 weeks or so and have dropped 8-9 pounds and kept the same LBM via previous body fat tests.

    Squat in new Jack gear.
    720x3- 2 sets gear was quite loose and going from canvas to this kind of poly gear is a complete 180. depth came way easier than i'm used to and felt way different in the hole. need to make some tweaks but i think i'll be good to ge once i get this combo dialed in.

    Deadlift full gear
    525x3 – 2 sets very easy pulls but a nice strain was had doing them after the geared triples.

    had to call it there, knee was getting very inflamed and is very very stiff today.

    Just when I think my tendinitis is bad I read that, strong efforts despite the pain. Crazy strong sessions in here sorry to hear about the body creaks and crunches I very much know how frustrating that can be.
