    Chest

    Can someone tell me what they think are the most effective workouts for the Chest

    Bench press Would be the best workout for Chest my brother.
    Weight: 165lbs


    Lifts: [Currently]
    BP: 205lbs(Goal:235lbs)
    Deads: 325lbs(Goal: 400lbs)
    Squats:275lbs(Goal: 300lbs)
    Age:18

    barbell bench. for both mass and strength.


    edit: you asked for workouts. other lifts that are great for chest mass are DB bench, dips as mentioned, weighted/band push ups, and DB flys to name a few.

    My favorite would have to be barbell & DB bench press, DB flyes, and weighted dips. IMO, I like DB Bench and incline press better then a barbell.

    i like the dumbbell flys, bench press, pulley flys , and incline and decline bench along with sum pushups for a warmup thats what i do on chest day and to me it works great

    my chest workout is: pressups to warm up, then some bench press, then some dumbbell presses, then some more pressups til i cant do any more


    chest workout is definatley my favorite

    DB Presses. BB Presses are great but DBs allow more range of motion... If it was easy to lift big DBs of the ground without a spotter I'd do them instead of Barbells. Dips are good too.
    Lifts:

    Bench Press 60kg 5x5
    Squats 77,5 kg 5x5
    Deads 112,5kg 5x5
    BB Rows 80kg 5x5
    Overhead Pr. 40kg 5x5

    I feel like its just hard to see much improvement everything else seems to be clearly improving except chest
