Lots of interesting stuff going on in here. The 100 pushup routine sounds interesting.

Rethinking this one. I can do an easy 25 on the decline in Maryland. Doing situps from the floor killed me. I couldn't breathe. Gotta figure out if I keep with the lower intensity one and build up, or if I just hold off on this till I can get Tabatas done and get in better shape. My weight today was at 390. Heaviest I've been in a LONG time. Stronger than ever, fatter than ever. I need to take a page from Vinnie's book and get my weight under control. This sh1t sucks.
Big doggie. Damn you look large and that's not an insult. I am so torn right now. I'd love to get down to 260, but then I see big Rob hitting a 600 incline. There is only one thing keeping me from going back up in weight, I feel really good. I might try to hit a happy medium and be a legit 275. I bet I can hit a pr equipped bench at 275. It's a constant internal struggle Tone.

Regarding Tabata, I do not like just using one exercise. It is way too taxing. Throw in some jumping jacks in between. Be creative. We are not trying to get ripped, we are just looking to increase conditioning and raise our metabolic rate.

Thanks Vin. I feel strong as hell but as bad as it sounds, I HATE the way I look. I need to get rid of that gigantic ugly gut.
I will definitely try switching things up on the Tabatas. No better advice than from a guy who's been where you are. I can't wait to see results. These are terrible! LOL

Vin, you could be a huge bencher at 242. You can big a big bencher at 275. There's not much I wouldn't believe from you man. You took your worst lift (when you were full power) and turned it into a top echelon lift by sheer will. You've hit every goal you've ever set for yourself man. 600 raw, 800 shirt, etc. Now your goal is to be healthy. A 600lb Incline isn't part of that. Stick to your goal like you always have.

I am really gonna try to get up to the next get together you and Rhodesy have. I know I'll learn a ****ton and I'm looking forward to it. I'm shooting to do a meet May 8th and after that, I'll have some time to play. Hopefully you guys will have some kind of session in there.

    Thanks for stopping in Vin!

Great day for me finally. My strength is up, my confidence is up. Everything was going great...then I realized I got a little to heavy to pull. Gotta cut some weight to get my leverages back. Squat is incredible though. Huge PR today.

    3.8.10 - ME Bench
So tonight I switched back to an old Super Phenom I had. Chest plate is 9 inches. I've always done really well in this shirt so I figured since I was struggling with the Double F6 I'd give it another try. It's pretty old and beat up but I need something to train with.

    Bench
    135x10
    225x10
    315x5
    365x3
    405x3
Felt pretty ****ty so far. I've done 2 weeks worth of double bands on squat day so I figured I was a little beat up. Decided to just throw the shirt on here. Wanted to go full range to see how I could perform in the shirt. Touched EVERY rep. It was a great night!
    545x1
    635x1
    675x2
    725x1
765x1 (May be a gym PR? Been so long I don't remember!)

Training partners said everything flew up and my technique was like clockwork. It's a huge difference from the Double F6. I can tuck my elbows more, get a better bar path, and the way the shirt hugs you at the bottom gives you a sh1t ton of support. My head didn't get in the way and the little pains that used to make me call the rep off I finally fought through. I've come a very very long way mentally in the past couple of years.

Got so excited about posting the bench I forgot the rest of the work..LOL.

Jesus you are a monster dude...

I may have to pay a visit, even though I moved, just to get some pointers seeing as we are similar height.

    3.10.10 - 531 Deadlift (3-Week)
Sick as a dog and I took off work today to rest. I have an interview at 2pm that I"m really looking forward to but hoping I don't look like total hell. My head feels like a brick and I have the cough of a 20 year smoker. Sucks. Anyway, took a shower before the interview, that helped. Interview went incredibly well. That helped. So I went to the gym to give pulling a shot.
    135/2x5
    225x5
    315x5
390x3 (Definitely felt heavier than it should have.At this point I just figured I'd try to get my work in. Hit my triples and leave.)
    435x3
490x8 (Felt good so I kept going. Not a rep PR by any means but being sick and (As Tim pointed out) just hitting 765 on the bench on Monday along with 2 weeks of double band squats, I'll take it. If that sounds like alot of excuses it is. Guess I'm just trying to make myself feel better. Not a great day.

I'd say that's a pretty solid day. Got some real life stuff in, felt like dog crap and still trained. Impressive to me and getting 8 reps on your week for triples is certainly respectable

Thank TDog. You and the guys did a great job with all the handoffs. It makes it easy to bench when you've got a guy taking care of everything else and you can just focus on pressing.

Sammy, thanks and don't worry about not being there man. Our guys are good enough now where any of them can hand it. We did fine. I have worked on not adjusting my hand like that anymore so it's not as much of an issue.

Brian, thanks man. A long time ago I used to train with Lattimer which is where I learned my technique. We don't train with him anymore but I've worked on tweaking it more and more. I need to work on keeping my heels down a little better but thank you for the compliments man. It means alot that you stop in here.
